Resolution
Connect an iOS device
On the home screen, tap
Settings
Tap
Wi-Fi
Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled by moving the slider to
On
After Wi-Fi is enabled, a list of available networks will appear within a few seconds
Tap
MiamiOH-Secure
to open authentication screen
Note: Some versions of iPhone and iOS may not default to trust the certificate used. If prompted to trust the radius.miamioh.edu certificate, select the
Trust
option
Enter your UniqueID and MUnet password
Tap
Join
When the Certificate screen appears, tap
Trust
When you are successfully connected, a check mark will appear next to MU-Wireless
Notes
To ensure that your device stays connected to MiamiOH-Secure while on campus, forget/delete MU-Gaming, MaimiOH-Visitor and MU-Guest from your remembered networks
You must re-enter your credentials any time you change your MUnet password
If you can see the wireless networks, but are still unable to connect to the Miami network, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat at
MiamiOH.edu/ITChat

Media Access Control address (MAC) for your device(s)
Contact information
Install the configuration tool on an iOS device
Using Safari on your iOS device, navigate to this page
Download the wireless configuration tool for iOS
If you have the Google Drive app installed,
temporarily uninstall it and select the download link again
When prompted to allow the website to download a configuration profile, select
Allow
If asked to choose a device, select the device on which you would like to install the configuration profile
Open Settings
Select the
Profile Downloaded
option
Select
Install
Enter phone passcode, if prompted
Select
Install
Select
Install
Enter your UniqueID and select
Next
Enter your password and select
Next
Select
Done
Note
The configuration was generated on a trusted mobile device management platform using signed security certificates. Not all devices trust the certificates by default, so some devices may be warned that the profile is unverified or untrusted

Troubleshoot your iOS device settings
Have you tried forgetting MiamiOH multiple times, but are still unable to connect? Some versions of iPhone and iOS may
not
default to trust the certificate used. Follow these instructions to reset the network settings on your iOS device, and be sure to "trust" Miami's security certificate
Tap the
Settings
app on your home screen
Next tap
General
Tap
Reset
Tap
Reset Network Settings
Note:
This will cause your device to forget all wireless networks
Restart your device
Tap the
Settings
app on your home screen
Tap
Wi-Fi
and then
MiamiOH-Secure
If a certificate verification appears, tap
Trust
Enter your UniqueID and your MUNet password
Tap
Join
Note
