Objective
To provide instruction for revising public-facing and internal-use procedural content in the Knowledge Base
Scope
Only the KBAdministrator, the Owner, or the Subject-matter Expert named on an article is permitted to revise the content of that article
If you are not the Owner or the Subject-matter Expert of name,
use comments or feedback to note changes you believe should be made
User
Subject-matter Expert (SME)
Service Owner/Group Manager (article Owner)
Knowledge Management Process Owner

Procedure
Log in to the KB
and open the article you want to revise
Click the
Edit Article
button
Update the content of your article
Be sure to address all valid
Not Helpful
feedback comments
Click
Save and Publish
or
Save as Draft
Click the
Settings
tab
Scroll to the bottom of the
Settings
page and advance the
Next Review Date
to the first day of the twelfth month from current review date
Example: If article is reviewed on 11/07/2025, advance
Next Review Date
to
12/01/2026
Click
Save
and exit to the article
