Resolve a locked or unavailable Canvas quiz / Canvas

Problem

• How do I access a Canvas quiz that is no longer available?
• How can I retake a Canvas quiz?
• Why is my Canvas quiz locked for a prerequisite?

Resolution

• If the quiz is no longer available due to a date restriction, you need to contact your instructor to request additional assignment access
• Only your instructor has the authority to allow you to retake a quiz with a limited number of attempts. Contact your instructor for assistance in gaining another quiz attempt:

• If a quiz is locked due to a prerequisite, your instructor is using module prerequisites. Go to the Modules page in your course to review the module requirements necessary to access the quiz:
