Download Cisco AnyConnect for Windows

Introduction

Miami students, faculty, and staff can use this application to access internal Miami resources securely from off-campus or to connect to protected IT systems, such as Native Banner.

Details

1. Click the Download and Install button to download and install the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.
   Note: for ARM64 based Windows Devices, you must download via the link here.
2. Launch the AnyConnect client.
3. Enter the following in the the connection field:
   • muvpn.miamioh.edu
4. Sign in with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password.
   • Two-factor authentication is required when accessing the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. For more information, access our knowledge article regarding the use of two-factor with VPN.
   • Tip: The very first time you sign in to muvpn.miamioh.edu, try entering in the password field, your MUNet password then a comma (,) then the DUO code displayed in the DUO app on your smart phone.
     • Example: 'password, [Duo code]'
