Canvas / Submit a Google doc to an assignment

Objective

• To provide instruction on submitting a Google doc to an assignment when the submission times out

Environment

• 10185: Canvas
• 11357: Google Workspace for Education
  • Google Docs

Cause

• Google Chrome updates and plug-ins can sometimes cause problems with submitting Google doc assignments

Resolution

• Use Google Chrome incognito window for Canvas submissions
  • Click on the top right three horizontal dots and select New incognito window
• Or use a web browser other than Google Chrome
