Problem
Why am I unable to view or access a document or image file in my Canvas course?
How do I view a file that shows a 'locked or Access Denied message?
Resolution
If the image or document file was recently uploaded to the course, it may take a few moments to process. If the file is still not displaying for you, try
clearing your browser cache and cookies
Some browsers may have compatibility issues when displaying images or files in Canvas. Try
configuring your browser to accept third-party cookies
If the document or image file gives a "locked" or "Access Denied" message, contact your course instructor. They may need to adjust the file availability or visibility to ensure it is published or re-link the file in the course
