Submit a Studio video to an assignment / Canvas

Problem

• How do I submit a video in Studio to an assignment?
• How do I submit or record a Studio video as a discussion reply?
• How do I submit or record a Studio video to answer a quiz question?

Resolution 

There are two ways to submit Canvas Studio media to assignments in Canvas:

1. Embed via the Canvas Rich Content Editor (RCE)
   • In discussion replies, assignments with the Text Entry submission option, and quiz questions that allow text entry (e.g., essay questions), you can record* or add an existing Studio video by clicking the Studio icon in the RCE:

     • How do I answer each type of question in a quiz?
2. Submit via the File Upload option in assignments
   • In assignments with the File Upload submission type, you can record* or add an existing Studio video by clicking the Studio tab from the submission options:

*If you are recording a longer video or wish to edit it before submitting, record your video in your main Studio account before accessing the assignment
