Resolution
Note: Canvas course sites are automatically created for all courses listed in Banner once the course schedule is published. Instructors are added to these rostered Canvas sites in the Teacher role if they are the instructor of record in Banner. Additional users should not be added to course sites with student information in accordance with FERPA guidelines, whether current or past courses
- Complete and submit your request for a Canvas project course site
- If assistance is needed to share content, include identifying information for the content to be imported (i.e., term, course, section)
- If requesting another instructor's content, include written approval by the instructor or the department chair (if the instructor is no longer at Miami)
- If a student wishes to request a project site, a faculty or staff member must serve as the sponsor and site owner
