Accessible Technologies

Purpose and Overview

The Accessible Technologies service, provided by the AccessMU Center, works to ensure equal access to digital resources for all members of the Miami University community, including students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. The service offers guidance on creating accessible digital content, procuring accessible technology, and utilizing assistive tools to enhance inclusivity.

Accessible Technologies Request
This form is used to request services from AccessMU and should only be completed by faculty and staff.
AccessMU
The AccessMU Center works to create a more accessible environment by providing information and services to enhance equal access for students with and without disabilities.
EEAAP (Equally Effective Alternative Access Plan)
When any new or existing system, software, or process does not meet Miami’s accessibility standards, an Equally Effective Alternative Access Plan (EEAAP) must be developed.
