What type of technology can be used to consume this service?

  • Devices that support RJ-45 ethernet connections of any speed including 10base-T 100base-T and 1000base-T

Cost

  • Faculty and staff: standard connectivity is provided
  • Students: standard connectivity is pre-paid with student fees
  • Special use areas and applications pay a negotiated rate to support the necessary equipment

Students with capstone projects that require external DNS entries may use this request form to request DNAT entries.
Request Communication Jacks and Cabling
New communication outlet boxes or jacks for network, telephone, and/or video services can be installed and pricing is based on the number of jacks/outlets requested and the urgency of the request.

Faculty and staff may use this to request the activation of an existing wired data jack for network service.
