To provide instruction on rejoining Miami's wireless network or eduroam after 5/21/2024

Cause/Rationale
IT Services recently updated the SSL certificate used to encrypt the traffic on the wireless networks — your device is still trying to use the old certificate
Resolution
Forget the wireless network
Remove or forget a wireless network on a macOS computer
Note: You may need to uninstall the MU-Wireless profile if you have it installed. In your Apple menu, go to
System Preferences
and select
Profiles
. Remove anything that references MU-Wireless by selecting it and clicking the minus
button
Remove or forget a wireless network on a Windows computer
Remove or forget a wireless network on an iOS device
Android: Varies by flavor and device type. Go into your
Settings
, and then
Network
or
Connections
Re-join the network
MacOS
Select the Wi-Fi
symbol at the top-right side of the screen and select the network
Follow the prompts to connect
Connect a Windows computer to MU-Wireless
Connect an iOS device to MU-Wireless
Connect an Android device to MU-Wireless
Notes
These steps can be used to rejoin eduroam, because it is configured the same way
