  Service Invocation Failed: Couldn't access remote service
Affected User / Action Miami University staff, faculty, or student who is unable to access Banner 9 Admin
Cause Your CAS or Banner Admin session has failed
Applied Resolution
  1. Log in to myMiami in a new browser tab
  2. Return to your Banner tab
  3. Reload the page
   
 

Known Error

  Invalid Action
Affected User / Action Miami University staff, faculty, or student who is unable to run QuickFlow: QuickFlow called from form or main/search box will not work
Cause Known error in the current version of Banner 9 Admin Common — an update was reportedly released in March 2018
Workaround
  • Run Quickflow from GUAQFLW
  1. In Banner 9, open the QuickFlow page (GUAQFLW)
  2. In the QuickFlow field, enter the QuickFlow name (code)
    • Select the to access the QuickFlow Query (GUQQUIK) page to search for a QuickFlow name (code)
  3. Click the Start button to run the Quickflow
