LISTSERV / Change list security settings

Objective

  • To provide instruction on changing the LISTSERV security settings for a list that you own

Environment

  • 10283: LISTSERV

Resolution

  • A list owner can change a LISTSERV list's security settings by using the Security tab in the LISTSERV's web interface
  1. Go to Miami's LISTSERV web site
  2. Click the Manage a List link in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
  3. If prompted, log in to the list using the email address with which you are subscribed and your LISTSERV password
  4. In the List Management Dashboard, click the Self Only link in the Search Options section to see only the lists that you own
    • A table containing the lists you own will appear in the Dashboard for <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu section of your web interface
  5. In the left column of the table, click the Configure link beneath the list name
  6. In the List Configuration <listname> page, click the Security tab
  7. Make your changes to the list
  8. Click Save
