Change list security settings / LISTSERV

Problem

• I want to change the LISTSERV security settings for a list that I own

Resolution

• A list owner can change a LISTSERV list's security settings by using the Security tab in the LISTSERV's web interface

1. Go to Miami's LISTSERV web site
2. If prompted, log in to the list using the email address with which you are subscribed and your LISTSERV password
   • Your LISTSERV password is not your MUnet password. If you don't have a LISTSERV password or don't remember it, learn how to register a LISTSERV password on the web
3. Click on List Dashboard from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen 
   • A table containing the lists you own will appear
4. Select the list you want to modify by clicking on the list name from your dashboard
5. In the left column of the table, click the List Configuration
6. Click the Security button
7. Make your changes to the list
   • Learn the details on the available values for various configurations of LISTSERV list security settings
8. Click Update to save your changes
