User
All

(Miami's alumni, retiree, emeriti, and former student populations are
not

Environment
312306: Duo Security Two-factor Authentication
Duo Mobile App
Android, iPhone, or Windows smartphone
Rationale
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your Miami account. It allows you to verify your identity using a second factor — your smartphone or other mobile device — and prevents anyone else from logging in to your account
Duo Security and MUIT recommend the use of a smartphone and the Duo Mobile app for the best experience in two-factor authentication
Duo works with smartphones through the Duo Mobile app to support authentication via Duo Push (recommended) and Duo Passcode
