Similarity report shows 0% for all students / Turnitin

Problem

  • How do I configure Turnitin correctly when all the similarity reports are coming back at zero percent?

Cause

  • You have configured Turnitin to ignore similarity below a certain threshold, and all similarity identified is below that threshold

Resolution

  1. Open the Turnitin report for an assignment showing 0%
  2. Select the filter icon
  3. Select Don't exclude by size
  4. To run a new report, select New Report
  5. Select Ok
