Rationale

  • Miami University IT Services does not update user information in the Miami Directory
  • You, as a user, can follow these instructions to update certain information in the Miami Directory
    • Other information can only be updated in Banner

Resolution

  1. Go to the Miami Directory
  2. Then click log in on the left navigation bar.
  3. From the left navigation bar, click My Entry
  4. In the Name Preferences section, click the Edit Name Preferences button
  5. Edit your preferred personal pronoun and display name options
  6. Click the Save button
  7. In the Contact and Personal Information section, click the Edit Contact and Personal Information button
  8. Edit your phone and email options, and personal information
  9. Click the Save button

 

Faculty, Staff

  • Follow these KB instructions to update your campus phone number
    • Updating your contact info in BannerWeb will also update your entry in the Miami Directory
  • To correct errors relating to last name, job title, or student role, consult the following offices:
    • Faculty: Academic Personnel Services, 001 Roudebush Hall, Oxford
    • Staff: Department of Human Resources, 015 Roudebush Hall, Oxford

 

Student

  • To correct errors relating to last name, job title, or student role, consult the following offices:
    • Student Academic information: Registrar, 110 Campus Avenue Building, Oxford
    • Student Employment information: Department of Human Resources, 015 Roudebush Hall, Oxford
