Gmail / Use of a third-party email client

Objective

• To provide information to a user who wants to retrieve Miami email (Gmail) messages in another email client

Resolution

• Miami University IT Services recommends using the Gmail web service in your browser to check your Miami email
• Refer to Google Gmail Help documentation, if you choose to use an alternative mail client: Use IMAP to check Gmail on other mail clients - Gmail Help
