Computing
Computing: Personal Computers
Personal Computer / Disconnect from the Miami Entra domain
Personal Computer / Disconnect from the Miami Entra domain
Objective
To provide instruction on disconnecting your personal computer from Miami's Entra domain
Scope
During a new computer's out-of-box experience, users are prompted to select whether they want to set up the computer as a personal computer or as a Work or School Device. If you accidentally selected to set up the computer as a Work or School Device and logged in with your Miami credentials, you joined your computer to Miami's Entra domain and configured your Miami Entra ID to be the administrator for the computer. This Miami account becomes disabled once you are no longer an active student, and this will lock you out of your device
You must fix this issue prior to graduation or leaving the University to prevent being locked out of your personal device
Environment
