Objective

The Oracle Analytics Suite used by the University has three separate tools that allow for different types of analysis, reporting, and visualization of data. They are described below

Answers: This is the basic drag-and-drop tool and the foundation of dashboards. This tool utilizes the subject areas created by the middleware (RPD) presenting data in the data warehouse only. Authors are permitted to create analyses
BI Publisher: This tool is used to create pixel-perfect reports and templates which can be exported into various formats, including PDF, Word, and Excel. A template can be used with multiple data sources, which helps to maintain consistency between reports. Developers are permitted to create data models and reports using this tool
Data Visualization: This tool allows the user to explore analytical data visually and on an individual basis. Developers can upload data files in a variety of formats and connect to databases or the Data Warehouse. The tool can also help a Developer find the best way to visualize the data

Not all data is available to all users. Authorized client administrators can help you get access if you need it
