Modify an incorrect index value on a document / BDM

Problem

  • How do I change the index on a document in BDM?

Resolution

  1. Open BDM 
  2. Double-click on the application that contains your document
  3. Find the document you need using the appropriate search
  4. Check the box next to the desired document
  5. Select the View Current Document button from the toolbar
  6. Select the Document menu
  7. Select Check Out...
  8. Select Check Out in the dialog box that appears
  9. Select the white arrow in the middle of the right edge of the screen to expand the Index Panel
  10. Select the Modify button
  11. Edit the incorrect index and replace it with the correct value
  12. Select Save
  13. Select the Document menu
  14. Select Check In...
