Block incoming calls / Desk Phone

Objective

• How do I block incoming phone calls on a Cisco desk phone?
• I want to block a fax number that keeps calling my desk phone
• I get repeated calls from an unwanted/unwelcome caller

Resolution

• Unfortunately, it is not possible to block incoming calls to a University phone
• Report unwanted calls to the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry
• Additionally, scams can be reported to the Federal Communications Commission
