BDM files indexed to wrong location

Issue/Question

  • We imaged a bunch of files, but indexed them to the wrong person
  • Uploaded files indexed incorrectly
  • Uploaded files indexed to the wrong location

Environment

  • 196716: Banner Document Management (BDM)
    • Banner Imaging

Resolution

  1. Use the ribbon at the top to export all the files
  2. Save on your computer
  3. In Banner Imaging, navigate to the correct location
  4. Upload the files
  5. Return to the old location
  6. Delete the files

 

Notes

  1. If you do not have permission to delete files in BDM, contact IT Help at 513-529-7900 to request assistance
  2. Provide the following information:
    • Application name
    • File name
    • User name or file location
