Set up password recovery options / MUnet Password

Problem

• How do I set up Miami’s MUnet Password Utility recovery options?

Resolution

To set up your recovery options in Miami’s MUnet Password Utility, follow this procedure:

1. Log in to MUnet Password Utilities (RI) tool using your UniqueID and MUnet password (Miami credentials)
2. Click the Next button
3. In upper-right corner of the screen, click your profile name and select Profile Settings from the drop-down 
4. Click the Edit Profile button
5. Update your personal email address and/or your mobile phone number
6. Click the Save button

Notes

• You must know your password to set your recovery options. If you have forgotten your password and have no recovery options, learn your options for resetting a forgotten password
• Resetting a forgotten password is simple, when you choose from the two recovery options we provide on our MUnet Password Utility page:
  • Set a non-Miami email account to receive reset messages
  • Set an SMS-capable phone number to receive reset texts
