Please set realistic expectations with the faculty, etc., for whom you are requesting this change.
A piece of software new to the University must be tested by Access MU, IT Security, and probably requires a contract/terms of service review. This often takes several weeks and involves several exchanges between Miami's offices and the vendor.
IT Services aims to accomplish these changes with in 30 days of approval by Miami Online.
Shortcutting this process (e.g. faculty applying an integration to their own course) decreases consistency for our students, and may create a legal risk for the University or the faculty themselves.
The following examples are appropriate for this form:
- New admin account(s)
- LTI integration
- Single sign-on configuration of Canvas-related applications
- Changes to Canvas features (e.g. enable final grade override setting in Canvas grade book)
