Purpose and Overview
The Miami ID is the official university identification, providing students, faculty, and staff access to essential campus services. While Miami University has transitioned to a Digital ID as the default format, physical ID cards remain available upon request. The ID allows access to campus buildings, meal plans, MUlaa debit accounts, recreation centers, library services, and more.

Features:
- Digital ID (Default): Secure, mobile-based ID accessible via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- Physical ID Card (Optional): Traditional plastic card available for those who opt out of the Digital ID.
- Access Control: Entry to residence halls, academic buildings, and recreational facilities.
- Meal Plans & MUlaa: Use for dining hall access and campus purchases.
- Event & Library Access: Check out library materials and attend university-sponsored events.

Service Boundaries and Constraints
- Digital ID is required unless a physical card is explicitly requested.
- Lost or stolen IDs must be reported immediately through WebCard Center.
- Unauthorized sharing or duplication of IDs is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
Eligibility and Audience
This service is available to:
- Students: Required for campus access, dining, and library services.
- Faculty and Staff: Used for building access and certain campus transactions.
- University Guests & Affiliates: Limited access ID cards may be issued as needed.
