Purpose and Overview

Miami University provides a standardized package of classroom technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Our classroom solutions include audio-visual equipment, connectivity options, and instructional tools designed to support faculty, staff, and students in delivering high-quality learning experiences.

This service is available to:

  • Faculty and Staff: To support instructional delivery and presentations.
  • Students: As participants in classroom sessions.
  • University Guests: With prior approval for special events or conferences.

  3. Room documentation: Specific documentation for various learnign spaces across campus is available in the ClassTech section of the Knowledge base
  4. Technical Support: For immediate assistance, call 513-529-7900 (option 9) to have someone dispatched to your location

Classroom: Request Changes to the Technology in a Classroom or Conference Room
Faculty and staff may use this form to request changes to the technology in a classroom or conference room. Common requests include the installation or upgrade of projectors and document cameras.
Classroom: Request Training on Classroom Technologies
Faculty may use this form to request training on the technologies found within classrooms.
Regional Technology Services Classroom Software Request
Use this form to request software to be added to the classroom and lab computers on the Regional campuses for the upcoming semester.  Software requests need to be made well in advance, typically by the last week of July for fall courses.
Request the Installation of Software on a Classroom Computer
Use this form to request the installation of software on a classroom computer.
