Connect my macOS computer to MiamiOH-Secure Wi-Fi / Wireless Network

Problem

• How do I connect my personal macOS computer to MiamiOH-Secure?

Procedure

1. For best results, forget/delete MU-Wireless, MU-Gaming, MU-Guest, and MiamiOH-Visitor from your remembered networks to ensure that your device will stay connected to MiamiOH-Secure while on campus
2. Select MiamiOH-Secure from the WiFi drop-down
   1. Leave No Certificate selected
   2. Fill in your UniqueID for the Account Name field
   3. F​​​​ill in your MUnet Password into the Password field
   4. Check the Remember this information checkbox
   5. Select OK
   6. For Verify Certificate, ensure the certificate is for radius.miamioh.edu
   7. Select Continue
3. If you can see the wireless networks, but are still unable to connect to the Miami network, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat at MiamiOH.edu/ITChat. Provide the following information: 
   • Location
   • Media Access Control address (MAC) for your device(s)
   • Contact information
