TDX / View or update tickets for others in your department

Objective

  • To provide instruction on viewing and updating TDX support tickets that others in my department have submitted

Scope

  • Specific individuals may be granted permission to see tickets logged in the name of other people in their assigned departments; only individuals with these elevated permissions may do so

Environment

  • 10374: TeamDynamix (TDX)

Resolution

  1. View open ticket requests 
  2. Check the box to enable the option, Include requests from my accounts / departments
  3. Locate the ticket you want to view using the search features
    • If necessary, adjust search terms to view closed tickets or narrow the list of tickets
      • Add terms to search within the ticket 
      • Adjust the status class to see Completed or Cancelled tickets
  4. Click the title of the ticket you want to update
  5. Click Comment
  6. Specify who — of the people involved in this ticket so far — should receive your comment
  7. Enter your comment
  8. Click Save
