Test my Internet speed / Miami Network

Problem

• How do I determine the Internet speed of my connection to Miami's network?
• How do I quantify reports of a slow Internet?

Resolution

1. Go to the speedtest website
2. Click the Change Server link (Note: We recommend changing server to a reliable consistent site as outlined below)
3. Enter onenet in the search box
4. Select Oklahoma City, OK
5. Click GO
6. You should see the following results:
   • UPLOAD: 50 Mbps or greater
   • DOWNLOAD: 50 Mbps or greater
   • PING: 50 ms or less

Factors that may cause lower speed test results

• Connection to a WiFi network other than MiamiOH-Secure
  • For example, the MiamiOH-Visitor WiFi network is limited to 15 Mbps
