Software Center / Install software on a Windows computer

Objective

• To provide instruction on locating and installing software from Software Center on a Windows computer
• To provide instruction on installing software on a Windows computer

Environment

• Software for University-owned Computers
• 10293: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Software Center
• Windows 10

Resolution

Windows 10

• Requires connectivity to the Miami University network
  • If off-campus, a connection to MUVPN is required
  • AnyConnect VPN / Use on Windows computer

1. Open the Start menu
2. In the Search programs and files field, type Software Center
3. Click on Software Center to load the application
4. Select the application you want to install to open the profile page
5. Click Install at the bottom right
