  • Please see the IT Services website for more information about quotas and Google Storage limitations

User

  • Students, faculty, staff, former students, retirees, emeriti

Environment

  • 11357: Google Workspace for Education

Resolution

  1. Go to Takeout.Google.com/transfer
    • If you get an error message that reads "Transfer Your Content is only available to authorized G Suite for Education Accounts. Please contact your administrator, or sign in with another Google Account," you need to check in to which Google account you are logged. Click the profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and make sure you are logged into your uniqueID@miamioh.edu account
    • You may need to sign out of all accounts. Click your Google Profile icon and then click on Sign out of all accounts. It is recommended that you also close your browser window, then re-launch the browser and sign-in by going to http://google.com and clicking the Sign in button
    • Use an Incognito window to easily log in to a different Google account
  2. Enter your personal email address and select Send code
  3. Retrieve the confirmation code from your personal email and enter it in the provided space
  4. Select Verify
  5. Make sure the slider is in the right position for the data you would like to transfer (both Drive and Gmail are recommended)
  6. Select Start Transfer
