Objective

  • To provide instruction on creating Banner jobs in AppWorx

Environment

Procedure

  1. Log in to AppWorx TEST
  2. Go to Object Admin 
  3. In the drop down select Development 
  4. Select  Jobs
  5. Select New
  6. Select the Banner radial in the Select Job Type window and  BannerJob from the drop-down menu
  7. Click OK
  8. Fill in the desired Name and Description
  9. Select the most appropriate Application 
  10. Agent Group select TEST_BANNER
  11. Queue select BATCH
  12. OK
  13. Select the Banner tab
  14. Under Program Information, select Search next to Program
  15. Select the desired Banner Jobsub from the Programs list
  16. Select OK 
  17. Leave Command Name blank
  18. Select the appropriate user for login override
  19. Under Parameter Set, select Import Values Now 
    • Adjust as needed, Select Parameter Value and click Edit
  20. Predecessors, Execution Options & Output tabs: Leave default settings
  21. Select Schedule tab
  22. Fill out required fields to create schedule with desired dates/times
  23. Verify the Active box is unchecked to deactivate schedule 
  24. OK
  25. User Groups tab
  26. Select group(s) and use up-arrow to add 
  27. OK
  28. Select Apply
  29. After testing of the job is completed, submit a ticket for Application Operations to migrate the job to PROD
