Assistance needed with ID card reader / Miami ID

Problem

  • I need help from Campus Services — the ID card reader for a University building isn't working

Resolution 

  1. Provision Miami's digital ID through the GET Mobile App. Directions for downloading and using the GET app can be found on our Apple or Android support pages 
    • If GET isn't working, or you don't have access to a mobile device, proceed to Step 2
  2. Contact Campus Services Center at 513-529-5000 for assistance during business hours 
    • Miami University Campus Services provides end-user support for the Miami ID Card
  3. Provide the following information:
    • Description of the issue you are experiencing
    • Your location, including building name
    • Time/date when the reader stopped working
    • UniqueID of the person who was unable to use the card reader
    • If needed, submit an escalated ticket request using this form

Notes

  • Miami University Campus Services provides end-user support for the Miami ID Card
  • If you are locked out of your residence hall, these are your options
