Use as an email alias / Entity Account

Problem

• How do I use an entity account as an email alias?

Resolution

1. Go to the Miami Directory
2. Log in with the credentials for the entity account you want to use as an alias
3. Select Edit this entity entry 
4. Update the routing to point to the new account (e.g., EntityAccountName@Gmail.MiamiOH.edu)
5. Select Save
6. If your old account had its own mailbox, follow these KB instructions on forwarding mail from your old address to your new address within Gmail
