Troubleshoot access after Windows upgrade / Software Center

Problem

• I need assistance in accessing Software Center
• I just upgraded to the latest version of Windows using Software Center, but Software Center is gone now

Resolution

1. In the search window, enter cmd.exe
2. At the command prompt, enter gpupdate/force and press Enter
3. Restart your computer
4. If Software Center isn't available after restarting your computer, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat session at MiamiOH.edu/ITChat to report the issue
5. Provide the following information:
   • Computer name
