  1. In your preferred browser, follow this link to Miami's XMediusFAX portal
    • Log in using your UniqueID and MUnet password
  2. If prompted to log in using your NT account, click Continue Session
    • If you receive error message or are unable to log in using this action, call IT@Miami at 529-7900
  3. In the top-left corner of the XMediusFAX web page menu, click Compose to open the tab
  4. Enter the Recipient information
    • Include the 88-prefix for local calls or the 81-prefix for long distance calls
      • Do not enter dashes between numerals
    • Add additional names by clicking More Recipients...
  5. To choose a cover sheet, click Style and select a template from the drop-down
    • Templates are available for Oxford and regional campuses
  6. Optional: Add a note to the recipient in the Comment field 
  7. Attach documents to the fax by clicking Attachment
  8. When you have completed the form, click Submit
  9. When the confirmation message appears, click Ok
  10. To check the status of your outgoing fax, click Outgoing Queue
    • Click the Status link to view additional information
  11. When your fax has been successfully transmitted, click Outbound History to view the completed time, duration, status, and any error codes
