Slack is a communication and collaboration tool primarily used by UCM for direct messages. The Slack Request Form should be used to request new Slack accounts for UCM team members (full-time or student workers).
There are two types of accounts that can be requested:
1) Free account: This account is primarily used for student workers or external partners. An individual receiving a free account can only access one Slack channel. However, they can direct message an unlimited number of people.
2) Paid account: This account costs $22.50/year/user. An individual with a paid account will have access to all Slack features, included unlimited channel access and direct messages.
