We find that completing these steps solves most Simphony (Micros) credit card reader issues. Try these steps first!
- Turn off the register
- Reset the credit card reader by pressing the yellow key and the # key at the same time
- Turn the register back on
- Do not touch any keys on the register until the log in screen appears
