Introduction
Miami provides Single Sign-on (SSO) functionality via either the CAS or SAML standards. This allows the Miami community to use their Miami credentials to log in to external websites that have a relationship with Miami, and provides identity information to these external websites as needed for account provisioning.
Details
We need specific details about the external site you wish to connect with Miami. These will be collected on the request form. For SAML setups, the vendor you are working with will need information about Miami’s SAML configuration as well. We have provided that information here.
Please note that SSO setups are an involved process and will take some time (approximately two weeks) working with your vendor contact to complete. It is important to request SSO integrations far enough in advance that we have time to complete the integration before it is needed.
