To provide instruction on entering final grades in Grade Submission

Details
Log in to myMiami
with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password
Search
grade submission
and select the
Grade Submission (Submit Grades)
task that populates in the search results
Link is available only during grade submission periods
You can add this task to your Favorites if you don’t want to search for it later
Follow these KB instructions for selecting and organizing your Favorites
Alternatively, select
Categories
and then
Academics
, then scroll down and select
See More
to find the
Grade Submission (Submit Grades)
task
Alternatively, log in to
Grade Submission
directly
Under the
Sections
header, locate your class and click the
Final
link under the Grade Submission column
Select a student and enter the grade using the drop-down list in the far-right column
Repeat until you have entered grades for all students for whom you wish to report grades
If a listed student discontinued attendance or never attended, drop the student from your class prior to the end of the ninth week of the term
Follow these KB instructions on dropping a student from your class
Click the
Submit Grades
button at the bottom of the page to save your grade entries
Submit (save) your work often and at least every 59 minutes
Each page displays 25 students — be sure to
Submit Grades
(save) on each page before moving to the next page
Review all submitted grades when finished
Close the grade window to return to myMiami
You can now choose to:
Click the
Photo Roster
link to view a class roster, which will include the grades you just entered for the class
Click on another course for grading
Log out of myMiami and close the browser
Notes
Submit (save) your work often and at least every 59 minutes
Grade Submission will automatically log you out after 60 minutes of inactivity, forcing you to re-enter any grades that you did not save/submit
To enter grades for a particular CRN (Course Reference Number), you must be assigned as the instructor of record for that course for the selected term
Certain courses, such as zero credit labs, are not gradable — you will receive a message that tells you
Section is NOT gradable
You can enter or change submitted grades through
Grade Submission
until the deadline for grade submission
Your
final grades also can be submitted directly from your Canvas Gradebook
If you receive the error
You have selected an invalid grade, please contact the Registrar
, try removing any letter grades that you did not personally select (for example, ''W') and submitting again
