Webex / Enable and use in Google Calendar

Objective

  • To provide instruction on enabling and using Webex in Google Calendar when you want to:
    • Create a Webex meeting during the creation of a Google Calendar meeting

User

  • Miami University Faculty, Staff, Student

Environment

  • 10199: Webex
  • 10257: Google Calendar 

Procedure

  1. When creating a Google Calendar Meeting, click the Add conferencing option
  2. Select Webex meeting
  3. The first time you use this feature, you must enable Webex to integrate with Google Calendar
    1. When prompted to log in, click the Log in option
    2. Select your MiamiOH.edu Webex account
    3. Log in with your Miami credentials
    • Webex will auto-populate your meeting invitation with information appropriate to your meeting 
  4. For future use of this feature, use your Miami credentials when prompted to log in
