Canvas / Students unable to see comments in Gradebook

Problem

Why aren't the comments I added to a quiz in SpeedGrader showing to students?
Why can't some or all of my students see the assignment feedback I added in SpeedGrader on their Grades page?

While the assignment scores may automatically submit when you navigate to the next student in SpeedGrader, since SpeedGrader allows you to draft comments several different ways depending on how you are grading, you must click the Submit Comment or Submit Assessment buttons when finished to post comments for students

Annotated comments are left and viewed in the submitted assignment document using DocViewer. Refer to the KB article on adding comments to an assignment using DocViewer to review how both students and instructors add and view comments directly on submissions
