Duo / Manage account settings

Objective

  • To provide instructions for changing various Duo account settings

Environment

  • 312306: Duo Security Two-factor Authentication

Rationale

  • Duo allows you to manage your account: Access My Settings & Devices to add and update devices, change your default device, and change your login method

Resolution

  • Follow these KB instructions to access Duo's Self Service Portal
  • To rename your device:
    1. Click Device Options icon (gear) next to the device you want to rename
    2. Select Change Device Name and enter a new name for your device
    3. Click Save
  • To set a default device:
    1. Click the drop-down menu next to Default Device and select the device you want to set as your default device for Duo
    2. Click Save
  • To set up automatic Duo Push notifications:
    1. Click the drop-down menu next to Default Device and select the device you want to use with automatic Duo Push
    2. Click the drop-down menu next to When I log in and make your selection: Automatically send this device a Duo Push
    3. Click Save
