Manage multiple due dates on an assignment / Canvas

Problem

• How do I add different due dates to an assignment in Canvas?
• How can I let a student take a quiz on a different date from the rest of the class in Canvas?
• How can I assign different due dates based on sections in a cross-listed course?
• How do I set different due dates for group assignments?

Resolution 

• Refer to the following Canvas Guides:
  • How do I assign an assignment to everyone, individual students, differentiated tags, or sections?
  • What is the difference between assignment due dates and availability dates?
    • To avoid removing assignment access for all students, use the +Add button to add additional access for specific students or groups. Editing or deleting the Everyone entry will remove access for other students and remove any submissions from the Gradebook. If you remove the entry, you may add it back using the +Add button to grant access or repopulate any previous submissions.
