Document camera does not work

Issue/Question

  • Document camera does not project
  • The classroom document camera is not responding
  • There is no power to doc cam

Environment

  • Classroom Technology
  • Document Camera

Resolution

  1. Be sure that the document camera power cord is securely plugged in to the device
  2. Try restarting the document camera — turn it off and then turn it on again
  3. Try re-seating the HDMI cable at the document camera and at the PC
  4. If these steps do not solve the issue, use the Crestron Panel
    1. Switch to a different source, such as Computer
    2. Select the Doc Cam option to re-connect to the document camera
    3. Select the Picture Mute button, if no picture appears
  5. If you continue to experience this issue, contact IT Help at 513-529-7900 for assistance
  6. Provide the following information:
    • Classroom location, including building name and room number
    • Document camera type
