Install an app from an unknown developer / Software

Problem

• I want to install an app that has been blocked by my macOS computer
• I cannot install an app because it is from an unidentified developer

Resolution

1. To allow the installer to run, hold the Control key and click the installer
2. Click Open
3. When prompted to confirm that you want to open the file, click Open
