Jamf Pro Self Service / Install on a University Mac

Objective

  • To provide instructions on installing the Self Service app on your University-owned computer

Environment

  • Software for University-owned Computers
  • 10188: Jamf Pro Suite
    • Jamf Pro Self Service
  • macOS

Resolution

macOS 10.13 or newer

  1. While on-campus, follow this link to start the install process
  2. Log in with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password
  3. Select a site and click Enroll, then Continue
  4. Locate the enrollmentProfile.mobileconfig file in your Finder
  5. Double-click the file and follow the prompts to install the profile

 

macOS 10.12 or earlier

  1. While on-campus, follow this link to start the install process
  2. Log in with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password
  3. Follow the prompts to execute the download
  4. Locate the QuickAdd package in your Finder
  5. Right-click the package and select Open from the menu (or Gatekeeper will prevent the package from launching)
