Canvas / Unable to access as a new instructor

Issue

  • I cannot access Canvas as a new instructor. I used a non-Miami email address to sign up for Canvas

Rationale

  • New faculty should have a Miami account set up before being added to Canvas as the instructor

Resolution

  1. Contact your department to verify that you have been correctly assigned as Instructor of Record on your Canvas course
  2. When you receive notification that your Miami account has been created, log in to Canvas using your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password
