Miami Network / Connect a Wii console to the wired network

Objective

  • To provide information on connecting your Wii to the Miami Network
    • When you cannot connect your Wii to the wireless network or MU-Gaming, even though you registered its MAC address

Cause

  • The Nintendo Wii uses older low-speed (802.11b) wireless bands that are not supported on the Miami wireless network

Resolution

  • To connect your Wii to the Miami wired network, use a USB wired adapter
